Just an update on what we are up to, have redesigned the front hubs which have given us heaps more lock, getting mounts made at the moment to fit some extra calipers to rear so we can run a separate handbrake system, will be fitting an Astra,electric, steer pump and will do away with the belt driven one, last but not least, will be fitting a Jerico, 4,speed Nascar box sick of blowing R154's.Will post some pics up soon. |

The pump arrived today,with the hoses and some wiring,looks fairly straight forward. |

Have sorted the wiring out,wasn't as straight forward as I thought,a real trick to it but my auto elec. sorted it.Will pick up the brackets for the extra handbrake calipers next week,that will be straight forward. The 4 speed Jerico has arrived and it is a tough looking thing, getting the adapter plate ect. made as we speak.

Handbrake is in ,just have to get the steel lines altered on Monday and that will be it, next will be the electric power steering,then will start fitting the Jerico once everything comes from the engineers. |

Electric power steering is done,fairly simple in the end,wired up to a switch inside to trigger it, used the original high pressure hose as the bolt for the union is the same thread in the Astra pump and the length was spot on, just used the alternator to tension the 6pk940 belt,seems to work fine but won't know for sure until we get it track for testing when the Jerico box is fitted.

The Jerico is in and works fine on the hoist, just have to get a gear stick made,some tidying up inside and a test. |
