Sure is! Booked for circuit club october 6th. Hopefully I can get some supra rear brakes and all the fittings for the surge tank so I dont have to run 60l or above of fuel like at marulan!

And if it doesn't solve said problem, it at least makes problems more entertaining.

There was a bit of chat in my thread about Wakefield park lap times. I have collated those times I can find for past and present SoarerCentral members into a single table. There is a persistent rumour that Damien has done a 1:06 so I included it in the notes. And Aaron - I listed your unofficial time.

There are some other Soarer times I found on NATSOFT, however I could not find them on the forums so I didn't include them. (Tozzi, Ruscoe etc)

I feel kinda petty for pointing this out but the ku36 isnt a semi, its a high spec road tire for anyone too cheap (eg. Me) to spend the money on a better equivalent like the advan ad08, toyo r1r or Michelin pilot sport.
Why do i go into the detail? Well, for anyone thinking of putting them on there soarer, don't. They're good on the street, pretty descent in the wet, but under a heavy car thats prone to a bit of wheel spin they're prone to delamination. I've had 2 pairs literally come apart at the seams under my soarer..

And you could get Spencer's name correct too!

I take it you have therefore committed to updating the table every time someone beats their PB or new cars/drivers come into the mix? Very nice.

When I copied it from Natsoft it was Cameron Spencer, LOL.I can update it, no problems. There would be less than 5 of us actually running cars at Wakefield, and maybe 10 who read this thread. Shouldn't be too labour intensive.

Spencer - They market the Kumho as a semi slick, but I agree it is not. This is the reason I put the type of semi in the brackets as to compare a time set on a KU36 to a Hankook soft would be unfair.

Haha yeah hopefully its an easy table to keep up to date... being trying to find quickest na 1u on wakefield on semi slick and I cant seem to find much. Seem they get around 1:15ish then all go slick tyre. Just shelled oul large amount of budget for some advan a050, will have to mount to xd9s off the blue one (one hell expensive parts car!) so with front undertray sorted and some suspension and alot of driver tweaks Id love to get somewhere into the 1:11s or 12s.
Cant wait to see what yours will be doing Andrew with new motor and gearbox setup! And Ben with the extra weight taken out, hopefully you guys will be cracking 05's :-)

New pb of 1:12.2 (racechrono in untimed session) and 1:12.35 for timed on natsoft! Tyres really worked! Was no other mods as was fixing stuff more than modifying lol. One lap I had -1.3 showing half way through lap as really hooked up first half but then red flags came out for a person broken down... which was the thing for the day I spent half my sessions on red flags or in pits so only got a few proper laps in..

See if I can make something of it. 1st time I really used it properly, didnt have enough data on phone to add video so just used gopro. I think thats possibly the fastest na v8 on semi slicks?? Everyone else ive found are 1.14ish then go full slick?

I did a 1:09 on 150rwkw (essentially stock with a front mount) and all steel body. You have a better torque curve but slightly less power. You also have better weight distribution. I think you will get there NA.
