Finished with the 2UZ intake, all plumbed in, some slight gains for sure, and after a hot run stays much cooler than the alloy. I'll have to get it on the dyno next year!!

Goes pretty well, according to my Passport 2 axis G-Timer, 0-60mph is in 5.7 seconds, stock with the 1uz and 4 speed was just over 8!

I have my dash calibrated to within 1km/h so its reasonably accurate to watch for time, aside from the refresh rate of the speedo numbers. Have a watch and listen

That's awesome. The kind of performance that it deserves.

Not too much going on with my UZZ32, try use it at least every couple of weeks to give it a good run, keep things moving etc!

In December I changed back to a stock steering wheel and carefully integrated paddles on the steering wheel to work with the 6 speed auto, I got rid of the IS350 wheel that had these as I didn't like the 3 spoke design.

Also had these Falken FK510 tyres for about a year now, very good tyres, excellent grip and comfortable, they do make a slight tone but it's not too noticable, could be attributed to the large 275 rear tyre though which is the largest I've had on any car.

It's certainly a fun time, really changes the level of engagement in the car.

Is your gearbox shift kitted for a bit more response during shifts?

I havent looked into shift kits for the 6 speed auto

I find how it behaves at the moment its perfectly smooth and fast enough for me.

Will see what its like after the turbo is on and it has some boost, may need to revise it but I think it will be just fine.

You're turbo'ing the 2UZ? Single turbo mounted at the front of the engine?

This won't interfere with the active 32 components on the front of the engine?

Sounds interesting all the same!

Turbo is positioned below / rearward of cylinder 7, quite a bit of space there when tucked up against the block.

I'm on the down hill slope of sorting the exhaust manifold fabrication, but wont be showing much until 2022 once it's all finished.

Only chasing a reliable OEM style setup, 6-7 psi range, don't want to push the 3UZ too much

Goal is around 400hp 600nm so fairly conservative levels.

The 3UZ UZZ32 is still running great, recently took it down the 1/4 mile and ran a 14.4 @ 96 mph so I was very happy with that considering the car had no weight reduction and nearly a full tank of fuel, that's nearly 1900kg! It's worth keeping in mind a stock UZZ32 1/4 mile time is over 16 seconds.

If I had an LSD there would be some room left on the table for a better launch, with the 3UZ torque and an open diff I had to be very careful.

Is there much weight difference due to the 4.3l motor?

Would be negligible motor wise, the 6 speed auto transmission adds about 40kg over the regular 4 speed. With me in the car I hit 1850kg and that was with 10L of gas so another 60L on top is 45kg, making the car just shy of 1900kg :-)
