| Hi all, Just a quick post to introduce the latest addition to the collection. I saw this youtube video and having met Mark from StreetFX at a friends wedding earlier decided to shoot him a message letting him know that if he ever wanted to sell it to let me know. https://youtu.be/69Xxkknz_L8 He replied straight away saying that he had too many project cars and that it was for sale and he only wanted what it owed him. With only 500 ever made and only 5 or so in Australia, I sent him a deposit straight away knowing i'd probably never get the chance again. About 2 weeks later I took delivery and I have started to tidy it up an give it the TLC that it deserves. I plan on keeping it as stock as possible and just making it a super tidy weekend car. With 89,000km and seemingly 100% original it would be a shame to modify it now. It even still has the original stereo with 12 stacker CD player in working condition and sweet lambswool seat covers. The elderly gentleman that owned it previously started to run into things a bit so the bumpers and 1/4 panels need a bit of love, and there is a lot of oil coming from somewhere, but other than that, she's a beaut! Enough talk... PICS!!

| Cheers guys I ordered a whole heap of engine parts from Amayama to service the car, try and resolve the size-able oil leak, and a few bits and pieces for road worthy items.
The battery had the wrong terminals, was the wrong size, and wasn't retained at all (how does this even happen?) so I also got a new battery. Having only known the 1JZ and 2JZ, working on the 7M is ridiculous.. I have no idea how many revisions and changes have gone on, but it's waaay too many.. There are like 5 temperature sensors in the water neck outlet!
Add to that having to remove most of the intake system and the whole coil situation just to get to the cam covers.. Crazy. Anyway, the cams look great.
Less great was the amount of oil in the spark plug cavity... hahahaha
The cam cover bolts were not even finger tight and the seals were pretty hard, new OEM replacements should sort it out. I also threw some new copper plugs in for good measure (once I soaked up all the oil) |

| Thanks Mike. It's not all that bad, there is just a lot of stuff in the way of everything, but it's not too difficult to remove that stuff. I put everything back together, flushed the oil a few times with $10 oil and filters, and the coolant system until i was happy and went for a lap around the block. Still lots of oil... I had a look around and it was pouring out the turbo feed line with above idle rpm. So out it all came again, but unlike the twin turbo 1JZ it all came out pretty easily and I replaced the gasket which I had ordered before and re-assembled everything along with some liberal de-greasing and about a total of 4 hours.
So far so good with no visible dripping! This pipe was busted and silicone joined back together so I replaced it too.
Next stop, roadworthy.. |

| The center arm rest and hand brake cover were very tattered and worn, so I got them re-trimmed by one of the guys at work who does a bit of automotive work. Very happy with the results.
All Jap day is on this weekend, so I'll polish her up and take her out to the show. |

| Here are some pic from the car show. I didn't win anything ( the only two votes I got were from me haha) but there were lots of people looking with interest. No doubt wondering what the hell it was haha.
I've been out in her a few times now with no real issues. The main problem is that the FM frequency is too low and it only has one CD in it which is a 60's and 70's hits and it has repeated about 20 times now |

| The FM radio uses a different band to Australia. This band expander will fix and allow the radio to use Australian Frequencies but the display will be out by 18MHz. |
