| Hey guys, been a long long time since I've posted and even scrolled through these pages but decided to share some progress of my current project. Lots more to follow, Idea is to build a car to lap Phillip Island in the 1min50 range.

| TR6060 Tai, got the conversion kit from castlemaine rod shop. Slowly saving some dollars up for a proper sequential gearset in the future but its not a priority. Happy to drive it as is and put the money into other areas. |

| A few updates, Fuel system finalized and plumbed up. Turbo manifold mock-up and plumbing done, just need to find a spot for the wastegate.

| Been slack of late with the updates, but here is the current status of the track hack: I've wired in all the basics needed to run the car body itself (Lights, Wipers, Demister) with a pseudo attempt at making it semi-legal (not really but one can dream) to drive to track days or the odd soarer meet. Wired in the engine control side to the ecu (Sensors, Fans, Ignitors, Injectors, Pumps etc) and so it is ready for power-on checks and ECU setup. Mechanically all fluid lines have been run, intercooler piping made (Thanks to Paul Drane), hot side piping except for the dump (only a temp 3in dump fitted from my old 1JZ Soarer until I figure out how I want to do the rest of the exhaust in 4inch), a custom catch-can made by Derek and DJR. 1 piece 1000hp tail shaft, serial 9 tail shaft adaptor and firewall blanks made by Venom Automotive courtesy of Scott from Next Level. Probably missed a fair bit, but next step is to replace a few fuel lines I'm not 100% happy with, get a 4in dump made up, ECU and dash setup and get it running ready for tune in the new year. Then paint and panel to make it presentable.

| Long time between posts, but a lot had happened. The built motor had sat for too long and through a combination of things going wrong had seized up. So Richard Crockett saved the day and kindly offered one of his cars to help me out. So road trip down to NSW and collected the shell. So fast forward a few months and I've swapped over all the bits and pieces, installed electric power steering, and a few odds and ends for driver comfort and boost control, had the turbo rebuilt by MTA, and painted the car ready for tune.

| Finally putting all the body parts back together and installtion of the rebuilt turbo and exhaust dump. Just waiting on a few bits to show up from the states for the engine and she'll be ready for its first start and tune.

Cheers Ben, I owned a 7th gen celica years ago in this colour and I loved it and wanted to paint another car that colour for years, and finally got the chance. Quick shout out to HAMR coatings for the paint Id like to see more stuff come through on the forums, especially large/complex/odd ball builds and to be honest I'm more of a fan of forums like this than Facebook groups, maybe because I'm old haha. |

| Nah unless I majorly break the white 32 I intend for it to be short intervals getting a set project done and back to action. |

| Mike, it's a rotary switch that controls boost, unless Charles has it configured for something else? I have the same rotary switch in my car with 12 different levels of boost settings (lowest being 300rwkw - highest being 414rwkw) |

| Hey guys sorry, hadn't checked the forum for a long while haha. But yes Mike its setup as a Boost Trim input to the Link ECU, was in 2 minds about using it as a Boost Trim or Traction Control Trim, might buy another and set it up and replace the simple On/Off switch I currently have for TRC. I'll throw up an update soon with |
