Hi there, I have a 1991 lexus with emv that I am removing. I am chasing a wiring diagram that will allow me to covert the climate control from the emv to the TT climate control. I see several threads where people have successfully completed, but am unable to find any literature. I have the emv control buttons still installed, I have the TT CC loom and the 2x grey plugs from the back of the emv. Any help in connecting the dots for this conversion would be greatly appreciated. I see Tim Pyke has done this, plus used the factory amps/speakers for replacement stereo, I too am chasing this conversion. Cheers!

Hi Brett Moloney, I am trying to complete this conversion as well. Is there a tutorial or wiring diagrams somewhere that will help me splice pugs etc?? Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers

Hi Guys, I know this is an old thread but hopefully since the last post in 2012 there are some more answers. I have just completed the conversion using Richards instructions and the Tim's wiring loom idea. All works good except for no LCD back light and the fan is on one speed. I can vary it up and down with the fan control and the LCD indicates the changes but the speed stays the same, flat out i think. What pin number can I check for LCD back light power ? Is it 12v or a reduced voltage ? Any ideas why the fan only has one speed. It looks like a few posters have had the same issue but i don't see a solution amongst the replies that works for me.
The only anomaly in Richards walkthrough is it shows pin 23 on the 25 pin EMV plug as ACC and elsewhere it shows pin 22 as ACC. I can't see how this would affect the fan speed? Not sure which is the correct pin to use. I have used pin 23 as per Richards walkthrough. I have triple checked the wiring adaptor and everything appears correct.

i completed this conversion a yr ago. After i had it fully installed i noticed no backlighting. I have not bothered to check if it is in the wiring, or just blown bulbs. I have full fan control. if you find it is wiring pls post and down the track i will check mine out.
