Hi All. I hadn't driven my 1992 GTL-V8 Soarer for about a week. When I drive it for the first time, I noticed that when cruising at a constant speed, that the speed is fluctuating erraticly. For example if I am cruising at 80km/h, the speedo will flicker, and say '73km/h' and then flick back to 80km/h. It jumps all over the place, when clearly I am not changing speeds to that effect.

I had a similar issue with an older car and it turned out to be the speedo sensor in the transmission, but I dont know where to start with the soarer?

Any help or info if people have experienced this in the past would be appreciated. Possible fix suggestions welcome :-)

you know how the ECU has two speed inputs,do they both come from the sensor at the rear of the trans, or is one sourced elsewhere?
