hi, my power windows are not working but everything else on the switch does. i have checked the fuse box. they are all good. can anybody help me out please???

nope still nothing. i checked all fuses, leads, and the relay. they are all good. the electric mirrors still work fully just not the windows and sunroof, got me f@%#$d. anybody have any other ideas????

"and sunroof" is a clue. Did you check both fuse boxes? Under bonnet and drivers footwell.

i checked all fuses under the bonnet and footwell. they all looked ok under the footwell and bonnet but i could not really see under the footwell. not much room. i will have to get the kids to look haha!!!

also is it a fuse or relay i should be checking?

Sometimes the fuses can 'look' fine but might still have a broken connection where you cannot see.

Do a continuity test on them to be sure. It checks the fuse is still one piece.

How did you go on this?


Im in the same boat as of today. No sunroof, no windows, no led lights on window switched, but all the door function/mirror functions are fine.

I note that there is some extra wires added to the smaller of the two loom plugs that run from body to door, probably something to do with an aftermarket alarm.

I hate this stuff, becuase Im no good at it!!!
