have a problem with the speakers, only the rear bass speaker going, it just happened after stopping the car one day and hopping back in in the avro. can anyone point me in the right direction before i start pulling things apart that i mighten need too and save me some time.

maybe you blew your front speakers or the wire broke who knows lol but i reckon pull the door apart and see what's happend :-)

If it's the four speakers, i'd check the amp. It's next to the cd stacker in the boot.

I'm assuming that the sub is the one speaker that is working?

I'm not sure how you'll fix it, but perhaps the amp is no longer getting power. There's a few threads in ICE with wiring diagrams linked in PDF so maybe trace the power source from that and check the voltage with a multi meter.

The amp unclicks by just taking off the wire clip. jam in a needle from the multimeter in the pin which should be power and earth your other needle and check to see if its getting anything. If its got power, then start checking the signal.

I had the same problem in mine after I replaced the DSP/ Radio units and had the cd changer out to tinker. Middle bass speaker only worked and really "bassy" with nothing else.
SIMPLE FIX: I had mistakenly left one of the connector plugs off down the side of the CD changer- once this was reconnected the system blew me away!
I hope it is a as simple as this?
