That would be due to a buggered crystal on the instrument cluster.
Do you have blinky dash syndrome?

Or maybe the time adjustment buttons are getting stuck

I have the same problem, swapped the crystal and it made no difference, really rare value too. 15.6Mhz if I remember correctly.

The whole clock LCD and driver is one unit so grab a spare dash and try swap it out maybe? or give it to me and I'l experiment for ya

No blinky dash or anything like that. It wouldn't be the buttons because the colon (second indicator)is actually blinking at a different rate. I wish i had a spare dash =[

I got the same problem I think?
My clock looks like its going normal but the dots are going fast and the time goes about 4 times as fast.
For 1 min the clock goes about 4 mins.

No buttons are stuck.
Anyone know whats going on?

Eddies in the space/time continuum.

You need a new flux capacitor.

They aren't cheap those flux capacitors either. Try a wreckers first but probably you will have to go brand New.

I fixed mine, it's due to a variable cap on the instrument cluster pcb leg breaking off. Not too hard to fix, there is a tutorial on soarer world
