Hi guys, I have picked up another badly neglected V8 from some bogans and it's got an electrical problem.
There is no voltage reading to the primary coil's plug (secondary is normal)
What I want to know is if there's an easy way to check the wiring between the ignition and the coil pack? I'm going to need an auto electrician, but I thought if I could confirm that this is the ONLY problem, I could save myself some dollahs! Any advice would be appreciated.

I just done the same to my TT I still haven't figured it out yet why it isn't sparking
On the TT though I opened the clip on the ignitor pack and hooked a multimeter up then on the coil pack pull the clip out and hook the multimeter on to that. checking for resistance between the ignitor and coil pack and if its an open circuit the wire is broken.
