hey as some may know having some trouble putting my 2j into my car with the wiring. but the wiring harness on the 2j came from a jzz30 which was mated to the 2j engine and the car was running. but doesnt match up with mine in these plugs..

alternator connector (not main power wire)
the two fusebox connectors
auto gearbox plug is smaller (bypassed as manual anyway)

just really interested now as in is 91 different to my 94 somehow? ive tried searching and parts catalog's but havent really found any info...

Sorry Aaron was meaning to answer your email.

Ok if you have the alternator plug on your body loom you use this. The only thing is where do the wires from the old alternator go to on the body loom and are they used for something else now...I am guessing not.

Yes 94 is different to the 91-93, by a few minor things. I found the alternator, fusebox connectors and didn't notice the gearbox plug.

So the fusebox connectors I don't remember them being too different? I know the alternator wire (white on one of them is no longer there, as it now goes through the body loom). Most of the other wires on the fusebox plugs are for aircon and power.

ahh well that explains it i knew a few things were different like intakepipes and pcv but didnt know the loom was different. As i dont have a wiring diagram for both guess will be quicker to swap with my loom i just wish i noticed it before as would have been so much easier to do with the engine out lol
