Ok gang bangers...
Wonder if any of you guys have this.
I always pull over for people in trouble.. ALWAYS - sometimes this involves putting on my warning lights and blocking a lane. Well .. i've noticed that if I have my warning lights (red triangle button) on for more then 5 mins my battery becomes flat. I do not think for a second that it is the lights draining the power, and I've had my MBC regassed as well. Anyone had this issue before? Is it possible it's the car alarm wiring issue?

get your battery tested you will probably find its well down on capacity i.e. stuffed! good idea to give the alternator some love at the same time as typically they go in sympathy a few weeks later.

Hey Jol, when I used to work for an auto elec, servicing/rebuilding the alternator, was a matter of ripping it apart, replacing the bearings, turning down the commutator in a lathe, replacing the brushes, and regulator. Some units the brushes and regulator were replaced as one unit (generally Bosch units). Also the diodes were inspected, wiring inspected etc. Getting the bearings out requires a press, or a puller.
