How do I remove this limit of 108 klm per hour? I read a post but couldn't understand what it mean to add a resister as a bridge? as per the following sentence copied from that old post: "Get a spare resistor and use one of the legs to make a simple wire bridge and solder into the two holes on the board marked J300 located here" (there is a picture of the board from the speed control unit under the dash). Do you use the the whole resister or just cut a piece of one of its legs to make like a "U" bolt and solder it in those 2 holes?

Hey john you just use 1 of the legs or for that fact any piece of wire that is small enough. I have just done this on my soarer and its a really easy mod. The hardest part is getting at the top bolt under the dash it can be a little frustrating. Also I used a very small (tiny) drill bit to clear the solder out of the holes on the board where J300 is so the wire would fit through and it could be solderd on the rear side of the board for a neat and tidy job, you will need reasonably good soldering skills and a good fine tip soldering iron. have a crack at it I did it and I'm a novice with electrics.

amen about that little bolt what a bastard ! persistence is the key I used a flexi drive screw driver with a socket bit on the end and a little bit of blu tac in it to stop the bolt falling out and hitting me in the face
