hey guys i notes a problem when i open the passenger door and my door symbol cames up on the dash.

But on the drivers side my door symbol dosn't show up plus my door chime is not working.

But it all started when i replaced the door lock mechanism on the drivers side any idea's guys :-)

Maybe didn't connect everything ? Go and pull your door apart and have a look..

yeah i think i've found the problem the central locking switch mounted on the key cylinder, inside the door the brittle plastic broke inside the door.

so i don't know if that's the problem but i'm trying to take the everything off the door handel so i can replace it

yeah got it out

this is the central locking switch

and here you can see where it broke

but it was easy to take out

As you can see there are 3 bolts once there out. The door handel comes out all you need to do is take out the rod for the lock its holding by the orange clip.

Once that's out the lock cames out and then all you need to do is replace the central locking switch mounted on the key cylinder :-)
