Hi Guys,
As you can see the photo below, my serpentine belt is cutting into the electrical wire -

I have no idea what it is- tried to look for descriptions but couldnt find anything-
basically = My Question is what is that cable for & can i repair it easily.

Pretty sure its for the cam position sensor. The hole above your green arrow should have a clip in it to keep it in away from the belt.

Hi Nathan,
Ok thnx now i know what it is -
as for the clip ill see what i can find -
but for the meantime i have used cable ties & they have worked quite nicely !
I want to repair the cable & use the right tools to patch up the wire, because one of the wires looks like it was cut right thru !!
Had a look in repco today and saw some of these
Should do the trick, maybe some sort of sheath over the top aswell..!

sounds like a plan - solder & heatshrink -
ill have to check the fuse box aswell just in case

Try to re-route the wire or attach it to something using a cable tie.
