the ecu main fuse on my 91 v8 is heating up a lot but it all seems to be working ok just getting damn hot.... anybody have any ideas on what could be causing this problem?

it's all original fuse's (as far as i can tell) haven't had to replace any so far, the only quirk i have had is my amp power cable fuse fried it self yesterday

if you have an after market amp wired into the ECU line, you have increased the current draw on that line. If the amp has a fault(it has blown its own fuse), then the overall current draw on the ecu line will be such that the fuse will be "stressed."

well i got it sorted (i think) only heat coming from it now is normal engine heat(on the fuse box)combo of the amp power cable fuse holder shorted out and a lose earth on one of the connections on the ecu, thanks all for the help

it's not hooked up via the ecu wiring it's run direct 8g from battery to amp but the problem was partly due to the amp cable due to the short in the in line fuse holder but it's all good now
