Hi guys,

I'm getting a Viper Car Alarm installed tomorrow from Autobarn & talking with the guy on the phone he say's that it's a 2 point immobiliser which I need for justcarinsurance! This is the model, but it says it only has 1 immobiliser - Viper 5701 Responder LE 2-Way Security and Remote Start System

So would he mean that not only would I have the Viper immobiliser but my stock TT immobiliser as well or not, I don't wanna get stooged by justcar if anything happens!

Thanks.

I got a new Immobiliser fitted yesterday, it too has 2 independant points, I'm still trying to understand it but I don't think they want too much known about it, even for the owner. Its a OEX paralyser and i am with Justcars as well so I had to act quickly when the crappy unbranded one that was in there started playing up. All the electronics were in the siren in the engine bay and the siren was actually disconnected itself!

The 3 points that an engine can be immobilised is fuel, ignition and starter. Your 2 point systems will disable 2 of these systems when activated.
