I have read all other posts and no solution to my issue,"Boot release not working". I do not hear a click of the solenoid. I have check all fuses are in tack. I haven't locked the boot with a key. I don't have a master key, only slave so i cannot open it manually.

Try removing the relay and bridge 12v to the output and see if the boot pops. If not it will probably be the boot release solenoid. I'd say it is either the relay or the switch. Or maybe the plug has come adrift from the switch.

Guys, so I don't have to make a new thread can anyone help me with my predicament.
I am wrecking a TT and the engine, battery and elect terminals are all gone along with the interior panel. I am now in the position where I can't get into the boot and the key I was given with the car doesn't seem to open it.
I need to open the boot so I can remove the tail lights, so how can I get into the boot. Feel free to pm. Thanks

The plug for the loom to the boot is just at the junction of the drivers kick panel and the sill area. It's a blue plug. Does the fuel flap and boot release. Should be easy to measure the resistance and find which one to apply 12v to.
