I was fiddling around with the steering column as I was doing a dash colour change. Noticed that there's a 2 pin connector on the LHS of the steering wheel (after you remove the tiny cover).

Was wondering if anyone can enlighten me on its purpose? The car didnt come with the cruise control stalk when I purchased it. There is a hole where it used to be though.

Edison, that is likely for the telephone which was an option on some Soarers

Appreciate your inputs. Was wondering why there was a modem/phone device under the dash when I fitted in an IBC.

Have another question though. I'v read somewhere on this forum that post 94 soarers get the OBD II diagnostic. I can see an OBD II port (unwired) and an OBD I port (wired). Is there anyway I can get link the two together?

OBD I ==> OBD II ==> OBD USB output
