Hey guys, I know the electrical soarer error list could wrap around the earth several times but I have a odd problem.
I had my rear brakes refurbished and bled and immediately after that I started to get a Engine Oil Level warning, but it only came on when i braked a little bit hard, I checked the engine oil and it was very very low so that kind of made sense why I was getting a warning, so I topped it up with some new engine oil but I'm still getting a warning, sometimes when I'm just going along, or stopped in traffic or braking for traffic.
My mechanic friend isn't too sure what could be the problem, but he hates Soarers and their long list of electrical Japanese problems...
Any ideas? can't really go for a simple drive without being chimed at with Japanese warnings these days.

Lol get the chime removed? Try unhooking the battery and letting the comp reset then rehook it up and see if it still does it. If it does Im not sure, like damian said your oil sensor may have died.
Ok so I left the battery disconnected overnight as my friend said and Nathan, I put even more oil in and the dip stick looks pretty good now. ( close to 5 litres )
Nothing had came up for awhile then suddenly same chime makes me sad.
How would you go about fixing \ getting a new oil sensor?
Ok so it started warning IMMEDIATELY after I bled the brakes and it only chimes when I brake a little bit hard, so I'm thinking it has something to do with the brakes the most...

Chances the guy doing your brakes has knocked the wiring to the oil sensor? If you have the right amount of oil in the right place, then it has to be an electrical fault.
The brakes are a completely isolated system from the engine lubrication system. The only possibility I can think of is an ABS/TRC sensor uses the same loom as the chime you are getting. Otherwise it is entirely a coincidence.
Drained all the old oil and topped it up with new stuff which took away the oil warning.
Straight after started to get the braking warning, bled the brakes and topped the brake fluid up to the max mark and all warnings have gone.
Glad nothing had to be replaced, embarrassingly just had to top up the fluids... didn't think a little bit below max would get picked up by the sensor..
