guys I've tried searching through the bible but cant find a list as too what all the codes are for the ecu that come up on the emv diagnostic screen, I've got a photo...what does all this mean? spent like 1 hour looking.

Hi Rhys, If the EMV display is from the 1UZ-FE, then it will be as below.
ECU 06 → BRQ line is shorted. Check BRQ terminal W/H. ディスプレイOK → Display OK TVチューナー 未接続→ TV tuner not plugged in. オーディオ E1→ Audio not plugged in. A/C 21 → Solar insolation sensor NG. CD-ROM E1,22,29 → E1→Transmission NG. 22→CD transmission NG. 29→Can't read CD data. TEL FF→couldn't get the result in the time of diagnosis. GPS OK →As it is.

thanks mate, the 06 code is gone now, don't know if it had anything to do with the car running on 4 cylinders....(some of the spark plug leads were toast, now it running on all 8

Had a couple of hours spare today.
After consulting wiring diagrams, I checked wiring to TV tuner, navigation computer, radio receiver, telephone computer and CD ROM player. All of these are inter-connected via a light green wire (BQTV and BRQ line).
Ran diagnostics after connecting one at a time. My CD ROM player (yeah that useless box under the stacker and amp) was the culprit. It is now disconnected. No more ECU 06.
