Hi all,

Just wondering if LED flasher relays such as these will fit the soarer...

no.

if you want to slow the flash rate down because you have fitted LEDs, change the value of the timing cap in the flasher module. Increase it from 3.3uf to 8.2uf. (courtesy of Luke Gomer tutorial)

Thanks Tom, yeh i have Luke's tutorial, was just hoping perhaps these flasher units might be a new product which would do the trick. Guess ill be heading to jaycar!

Out of interest why is it they dont work, do they just not physically fit our cars?

My brother has used these units on numerous cars and trucks at his work which he has converted to LEDs and they have worked great.

hi michael, i thought it was a different connector, but looking at a photo of the soarer one they appear the same. Maybe it will work.

Just take the soarer flasher and into a TV repairer and ask him to change the 3.3uf cap.
