So, the story goes like this.
I had to replace my fan shroud to clear a roadworthy inspection, and due to that, I had to take out my battery and the battery tray so that the shroud would actually fit.
When i put everything back together, including the battery, the car wouldn't start and there's no power to anything. And there's this 3rd wire that's confusing the hell out of me.
I was thinking, how hard is it to put back a battery right? Its apparently pretty damn hard. Attached is a picture of the 3 wires. I've checked the fuses, they all seem fine. Might be a dead relay? Or no earth?
Can you not see that the lead goes straight to the big + terminal on the fuse box.
Without the battery connected, a simple mutlimeter check to ensure the earth is going to the chassis, that one in your hand is going to the fuse box +, and the third must go to the starter.

replace those ratty terminals cause they will prob pick on it on inspection man! also all your big fuses looks like the top of them is all exposed, whether or not thats overly bad? check the main 120amp fuse and possibly you touched terminals when re-installing the battery.
