Hey guys i brought a new electronic boost controller but this one is a turbo timer and a boost controller in one.

Anyway my problem is I've wired everything right I've pinned out with a multimeter the right wires.

But nothing turns on I've checked and rechecked and i do have the right wires.

So i tested it on the 12v battery to make sure its working and it lights up fine only when i install it in the car it wont turn on at all,

so on the unit i joined 12v and acc together and hooked it to acc and nothing so i connected it to a 12v wire and bingo it lights up.

But once i turn the key to acc it shuts off i'm totally stuck on this one

this is the what i brought

any help would be great thank you guys :-)

Hmmm disconnect the ebc to see if it's coming from there.
Try to find the source of the sound then work up from there

It's an odd sound, it may be a warning sound. Have you correctly wired the unit?

hey buddy yeah the sound is coming from the ebc is was fine before but now its started this i have checked the wires to make sure which the wires are

POWER

Red - 12v

Yellow - acc

Black - ground

White - hand brake

ADDITIONAL SETTINGS

Red - power

purple - ignition 1

orange - Ignition 2

I've only done the power to see if it works the additional settings requires a SPDT ( single pole double throw ) amp relay but it says in the book}

Hey Matt have you checked this?

•Warning Feature - When over boost has occured, the display color will change to RED and sounding an audioble alarm (if the sound option is ON)

I would like to know if this is a good unit? if so may consider.

i had a look at the unit and the sound button is turned on but that was already turn on when i wired it up and nothing happened.

So i turned off the car unhooked all the wires and was about to install the SPDT ( single pole double throw ) amp relay.
Just in case you don't know what it means :-).

So Its saying i got to cut my ignition 1 wire and ignition 2 wire in half and place it in pin 87A and 87 on the SPDT amp relay.

So i got everything ready and started wiring it up again i was doing power first then I'll do the other stuff later.

Got that all wired up turned the key to make sure its working and BANG a high pitch warning noise is sounding from it

Hey Matthew,

Did you end up fixing the problem?

Guess I would like to know if the unit is worth it or not?

Cheers

Christian
