There is a large loom with white multi pin male and female plugs under/beside the car jack in my V8 Limited. The female socket has two link wires, looks factory. There is also a yellow 4 pin socket.
No big deal, I was just wondering what they were there for.

Thanks, looks like Phone Plugs.
PS. Forgot to also add there is a Black 10 pin plug there.
PPS. The Reverse Camera plug is higher up, not by the Jack.
Cheers

used the search function and came up with 80 threads. searched using two words.... BOOT PLUGS

you cannot expect to have a search engine look for specific queries such as yours wayne. you have to broaden the search range ie. less words.

here are a couple with pics. pics tend to help when describing something.

Hi Walter, thanks for your helpful advice re. doing a Search on SC. You are right, less words often gives more results. But then 80 threads can take a while to sort through.
I was hoping more words may reduce the Search results. I guess it’s a balancing act between too many words and only a couple.
I have just spent 30 min. doing Search research to get more familiar on how it all works. And also the input options one can select.
Initially I just thought I would ask a question re the Plugs, hoping I may get back a short simple answer. But then I am accused of wasting peoples time, well they don’t Have to Reply if it is wasting their time. I felt the tone of the Initial Reply, though helpfull, to be a little aggressive. Maybe I got it wrong?
All the best.

when more words reduce your search results to '0' then it is quite obvious that you must use less keywords. as with any search engine/ function.

when it has been covered before, most people tend to only keep info that relates to their own cars in their head for ease of access. if someone says 'use the search function, the info you request has been covered before.' it simply means exactly that. your question has dinged a little bell in their skull that says. 'hmmm.. pretty sure ive read something similar before.' they are not going to personally rush through pages of info that instant.

dont try to read emotion through words in a forum. or figure someone's 'tone' from a reply with nothing but full stops. you'll think everyone is your enemy if you do mate.

Also where in the above replies and posts has anyone mentioned.. at all.. that you are wasting peoples time? dont take criticism and advice as aggression.
