Hey guys when I put the car in reverse the writing at the top of the screen comes up and the dots along the bottom but the picture is like a static tv pic.
Any ideas what the problem might be?

Aftermarket camera? Does it roll? If aftermarket, is the camera PAL rather than NTSC?

Like Michael said, if it rolls/scrolls up fast, and is B/W, I'd say you have a PAL camera, and will be unfixible.

it doesn't roll I don't think. Its the factory camera

is this a new installation, or has the camera been in use for a while and the operation/picture changed?

when you say "static' do you mean snowy? Can see the pic behind the 'snow."?


if yes, you have a weak signal, (or missing earth) check the connections. Camera plug is above the LHS wheel well in the boot.
