Hey everyone, hope you're all having a good day.

So my passenger side power window was not working, so I figured it must be either the motor or the regulator. I ordered a regulator and motor off of eBay, and put it on today. Much to my dismay, the window still does not work!

Any ideas as what else the problem could be? I'm all out of ideas, haha.

I should also note the I bought an SC300 regulator/motor, and while it appears to be exactly the same as the Soarer one.. could that be the problem?

Thanks for your help in advance!

look for a broken wire in the loom from the drivers door to the car.

You can remove the loom if need be. Unplug it behind the kick panel near the accellerator.

Check the fuses. I think they are in the driver kick panel. Failing them check fuses in the engine bay.

Are you only using the window switches ? Try running direct 12v to the motor to see if it works .

I found the passenger switch was dirty and melted inside causing it not to work .

If fuses are all good and you have the window working via direct power , i would look into pulling the switches apart . Both the drivers side ones and passenger one to clean .

So, the window works now!

I didn't really do anything.. I was just playing around with where the wires connect to the main drivers side controls, and BINGO, the window works now!

Strange, eh? Must have been a loose connection/wire or something. Oh well, the window is working, and that's all I car about! Haha.

Any chance you accidentally hit the window lock switch on the drivers door arm rest?
