hi everyone

i either need to get rid of the speed cut from my JZZ30 for AIR drag meet.

can i simply dissconect the speedo from the transmission and then plug it back in after?

does anyone know any otherway to remove speed cut?

the ECU has two speed inputs from memory. perhaps one for the trans to work out shift points etc, the other most likely for the dash. I'm thinking your trans won't change gear if you disconnect one. THere is only one speed sensor unit on the trans though. at the rear, on the left from memory.
a proper speed cut defender is best.

If the 2 Wire one is not connected it might not shift out of first gear sometimes or have very early or delayed shifts.

AIR as is Adelaide???

I have an old RSM somewhere, which I used to get rid of the speed cut. I am not that far from AIR either.
