my niece's soarer is giving me headache. I think someone has reversed leads when trying to jump start. Found 120 amp alternator fuse blown when I first started to diagnose. I repaired this fuse and checked all other fuses, all ok. Replaced crank position sensor, swapped ecu for good one, checked and cleaned all earth points. Still have power to coils and injectors but no switching . Injector pulse is erratic, sometimes one pulse then nothing, sometimes six or more pulses then nothing. Could Igniter cause this problem and could anyone tell me how to test igniter??

Voltage issues ? Have you tried replacing battery ? Normally an igniter has nothing to do with injector pulses . Has the fuel pump died ? Try spraying some nulon start ya bastard into throttle body then start .

Thanks for replying Daniel. Fuel pump is working and I have tried fuel pump ecu bypass as well as squirting fuel straight into manifold. I have no spark from plugs at all. There is power to coils and injectors.Battery fully charged. I realise the igniter should not effect injection pulse. Just trying to get spark back to start with.

Rather than start a new thread I thought I can just post my problem here as it is very similar to what Darren went through...
Car doesn't start, engine won't crank over. No problem with the starter motor or the battery as they are both working/good condition.
Checked fuses, no apparent problems there. Fuel pump is functioning. Also did the fuel ecu bypass and squirting fuel into manifold. Checked whether there is injector pulse and nothing comes up. Also ran OBD scanner and got error code DTC 12 - engine speed sensor etc... Does this have to do with crank/cam angle sensor/s?
Anyone with any ideas on what could be the problem?

Hi Hakan,
To say its not cranking over means when you turn the ignition key on, the motor doesn't revolve etc, its as if you haven't touched the key that is the symptom of it not turning over & if that's the case read on ..
You say there is nothing wrong with the starter motor or battery but you say it wont crank over, have you or How are you testing both these items to determine there is nothing wrong with them ??
If both the items are good its got to be a bad earth or positive lead connection or battery connections etc or a immobiliser / alarm that is playing up ...
If it won't crank over you are wasting your time testing fuel pumps, injector pulse & using scan tools etc ..
