Hey guys as the subject suggests, picked these up off ebay for $149 . I notice they are not the exact same as the 97 - 00 model so am I right to assume they are the 94 - 96 model?
I've used the search function but am getting a bit confused and ELECTRICAL is not my thing.
Pretty much want to know how to get these into the v8.

They'll bolt in the same. You can either keep your existing tail light harness and plug in the globes in the right locations and hide your other 2 blinker globes in your boot behind the carpet. It's the easiest option. Not my favourite way to do it but definitely the easiest.

for the blinkers , to get the correct flash rate it is best to change the value of the timing cap in the flasher unit. Running extra globes is not the way to go.

Is there anyone going to the Vic Dyno Day that I could pay to help install these the best way possible? Of course only if it is feasible time wise! I can do engines... not electronics. Its putting together and pulling apart pieces of metal versus magical lightning strikes running through tiny wires that can sometimes create moving pictures inside a box in my house..kind of like what I'm typing on now.

I did the resistor change when I put 97 tails into my V8... pretty easy as far as I remember. Certainly not a dyno day install job though mate. We'll need a soldering iron and the right resistor
