Can someone tell me where the CTS (coolant Temp sensor) is on the Uzz31?

Has anyone put a resister in in this circuit to make the ECU think that the temp is higher than it really is and so inject less fuel? This is one of the sensors that needs to be addressed when running hydrogen.

Also the intake air temp sensor (IAT). Has anyone modified this by fitting a pot and so changing the signal that the ECU gets?

Next, has anyone modified the signal from the air flow meter to the ECU? If so can you tell me what each wire on the Karmen Vortex unit is, just to act as a check for me as I seek to play with these to get some fuel gains with the hydrogen set up that I am experimenting with.

Just changing the signal to the ECU from the Oxygen sensors isn't enough as the computer sees that there is an inconsistency with the info from the different sensors.

There has been major breakthrough with HHO these days if you are on OBD 2 systems, guaranteeing over 100% gains providing you are making the right amount of HHO at the right amps level, no more than 15% of your alternators capacity, and if you are able to make the right sensor adjustments.

Problem is that our cars are not OBD 2 diagnostics and so can not give us all the needed info as to what is going on in our engine. Australia did not go OBD 2 until 2006, except for some who did conform earlier (not our cars).
There is a lot of guess work without the capability to hook up a modern scan gauge, which you can do on OBD 2 systems.

The TT has two, one bottom left of radiator, and a second near the thermostat. One is used by the computer, the other for the gauge in the dash, from memory.

I assume the V8 is similar?

Which one is for the dash? And is there a second on the V8?
Can anyone confirm?

I think I have a 95 V8 wiring diagram for my old adaptronic which includes the AFM wires to fool the ECU.. Let me see...

thanks Tai,
I did not want to get another ECU and was looking for some simple fix, like a pot.

Peter,
I will read again and study up later but for now I will leave this, have other things more important.
Cheers John
