Hi,

I just got a new soarer! But the “clock” is playing up*

*The first issue, is that the clock time is running very quickly (its takes around 20 seconds to completed a whole minute) that’s according to the clock. Today it was running very fast (it took 7 seconds to completed a whole minute, it was a very hot day) I think the heat made to clock go faster??

*The second issue, it sometimes the time is still, for example I turn on the car, it’s says 10:39 (the clock and the time doesn’t move).
Any ideas how to fix these problems?

I think the clock part of the Instrument Cluster is faulty so the only way might be to swap it. Perhaps there might be some components that can be replaced inside.

Ok thanks for that, I wouldn’t mind fixing it * if possible, I don't want to change the Instrument Cluster!

do not know if it will fix the problem , but replace all electo caps ( try to work out where the clock components are located) if you do not want to change the cluster.
