Actually related to another thread about my central locking playing up...
But how does other members doors work?
Every time i have to get out of the car i have to flip the lock button to unlock to open the door.
Is it meant to unlock automatically when i pull the interior handle, i.e. does pulling the handle also somehow activate the unlock? should they be connected somehow?
I'm trying to backtrack it to find the source of my problem.

I think i fixed this, looking into the door mechanism when the door handle is pulled there a a sliding part that is meant to catch another part that then flips the lock open, i could see a piece was not catching the unlock part so i pressed it in with a screwdriver, now it works fine, but will see how long it lasts! I did not have a camera at the time so no photo's, but if i have the door panel off again i'll add the photo.
