What would be the cost and even possibility of replacing the ignition barrel? and the rest of the cars barrels?

I'm finding they each catch in one way or anther on the odd occasion
Or is there anyway?
afraid they will fail one day and either will not be able to start the car or get into it.

spray silicon or a dry lube into the locks.

DO NOT spray wd40 or a wet lube into them.

Arnt you ment to use graphite powder in locks? As liquids collect dirt and dust? Don't quote me on that just what I was told.
Doing a full lock swap insnt hard just time consuming. I just did mine.

daniel that is what i have said above, use a dry lube,(silicon/graphite etc) do not use wd40 etc as it collects dust and jams the lock.

Graphite powder or teflon dry lube is the way to go - I've moved to teflon lube as it also provides a moisture barrier - I don't think I'd use a silicone based dry lubricant - silicon doesn't seem to lubricate metals all that well in my experience - does better on plastics and rubber.

why not get a locksmith to check it out might be a small problem that can be easily fixed
