Driving to work this morning, 20 minutes into my drive and the check charging warning flash's for a second, then TRC light stays on, then lost EMV and finally the dash, was luckily able to pull over safely.
Called NRMA to get a tow but while waiting tried it again and all working ok, finished the next 10 drive nervously waiting for it to cut out in heavy traffic but made it ok, going home car drove all the way with no issues.
New alternator a couple of months ago. battery terminals are tight. Auto elec took off a malfunctioning immobiliser last week, not yet replaced, so not sure if that's a factor, i.e not removed properly? not had a chance to look to see exactly what he has done...
Any suggestions on what i can start testing, just strange that it failed but then all ok
