Hey guys. As above, where can I find a switched 12v wire inside the cabin? All I'm needing it for is to wire in an alarm LED flasher but all I seem to be coming across is constant 12v.
UZZ31 by the way, tested a few wires in & around the cabin already including 1 or 2 from the EMV also but no luck. Have searched up & down online but haven't found a straight forward answer yet on locations/wire colour etc. but I may have just missed it.

Also while I'm at it.. any electrical gurus out there know whether the late model single disk CD player headunit are interchangeable with earlier models ('92 in my case) when it comes to wiring compatibility? I'm soon planning on doing the non-EMV conversion (already have the required parts) hence my curiosity, before settling with an aftermarket unit.

Thanks in advance.

I didn't really understand the question as a switched power line would be on/off when the Ign or Acc is on/off. For your purpose I would think you want power on when the car is off for the flasher.

Did you find such a wire?

The Alarm unit should power off/on it's own flasher based on the presence of 12v at an allocated input on the alarm unit, usually requires to be Ignition switched power, just tap off the ignition switched wire from the barrel.
