On a hot day, my drivers door indicates open, even while shut.
As it cools down, it becomes intermittent, then works normally.
I found that when it's intermittent, I can turn the door open light off by rotating the door lock latch a little further in(while the door is open). I did wrap some tape around the door striker, so that when the door is shut the door latch is rotated further around, but it doesn't completely solve the problem.
Before I pull out the door locking mechanism, is there an easy fix?
Has anyone had to repair their door open switch?
