Hey guy,

Yesterday my mate & I decided to change the oil and plugs on his 94' TT soarer because hes neglected to change them for 8 years!

So after finally getting the new ones in after most of the coil connectors crumbling, and changing the oil, we go to turn it over and.. nothing, No spark, and i can't hear the fuel pump priming. I've switched out the igniter for one we know worked, double checked the wiring of the coils, etc. I'm stumped..

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you touched any other things?
May just be a wire off.
Otherwise try bridging fuel pump ecu.
There's a guide on here how to do it
This can be caused by faulty ecu but the fact youve changed plugs etc seems as though something has moved

Is there an aftermarket security system on it?
Any dash lights or life at all?

I would guess the coil connectors wires are possibly touching each other inside the crumbling connectors or have dropped out of contact with the Coil contact tabs, if the connectors are that bad I would break them off completely & then put heat shrink on each individual wire & fit them back onto the coil one wire at a time, ( also make sure they push onto the coil tabs with some resistance so they make a good metal to metal contact ) before you break up the connectors completely write down which coloured wire goes to which side of the coil contact tab & copy that for all of the coils, so you don't upset the coil polarity ..
