hey guys im new to the member area ive always used the site for info and help ect but im damn stumped atm and cant find the info im after anywhere.

ive got a 1995 soarer with a few mods
rebuilt hiflowed steel wheel ct12a's
lous twin dumps
3" into twin 2.5" exhaust
mv auto shift kit
fmic

ive just installed a hks fcd to run 16psi
problem i have is with the hks installed and on setting 9 the car is a slug, slowly builds up revs and the boost come up until about 10psi then it picks up fast (feels like huge turbo lag)
the lower the setting i go on the hks the bigger the lag before i receive power (haven't tried anything under 7), on setting 12 there is no lag (like standard) when i get to 16psi it is rough like its running lean. if its on setting 9 it runs very smooth at 16psi just no power until 10psi

anyone had any issues with the hks fcd like this?
im stumped as to why the fcd is altering my power output, it can only be via fuel or spark as i have the air pressure as per normal (builds boost as normal it just cant use it)

cheers for any input
