I've had my ECU reconditioned ( JZZ30 TT )
ECU reinstall procedure;
1. Unearth battery
2. Reconnect ECU
3. Earth battery
4. Turn on ignition / wait 3 seconds.
5. Crank engine / start

ECU's much smoother, dial in the TPS now
