i have just completed this mod. I spent a bit more money to simplify the job.

I purchased an EMV climate control unit (instead of using mine) with the car side loom plugs and 400mm of loom with it. After removing the connector from the unit, you plug the loom into the connectors. you can then solder the end of each wire to the corresponding pin/connector (check what wires are required)then cut the unwanted car side plugs off. The wires will match (all except 1 or 2 ) to the wires on the 3 white plugs you have purchased to go into your TT climate control. This makes the job much simpler, quicker and easier to check.Use heat shrink on the pins and wher you have joined the wires. The tut on this site worked great.

removing the climate control in my car was the hardest part of the job.
