am thinking about connecting up TV. Is it worth it? Where do I get components? Could someone help me with this information?

Just use search , put in"TV "its all there .

G'day jack ok as per Davids instructions you should have no probs doing it. Cutting the right wires . Go on eBay you should find plenty of tuners. I did it on my 96/97 sort of but cause wires are different could not complete conversion properly . I got reception no probs, just make sure you cut the right 3 wires as outlined

Go see NAM at Marickville , he has been doing soarer EMV repair and mods for 20 years + , always lots of parts in his workshop, been there myself to check him out, "http://www.nam.net.au/ "
