I have taken out the motor and with it the loom and battery connections, so now that I want to move the power seats in the car to remove them I can not send them forward to get to the back bolts.

How do I get power to the seats to move them? :-(
Help.

Sometimes a spanner will get in their.
Otherwise you’ll need to apply power to the seats, 2 wires in drivers floor harness which go back to the junction block in the drivers foot well - supply 12v to one and GND to the other. You might even be able to apply power to the seat fuse and ground to the chassis.

I found the blue and white wire, power, and an earth but for some reason, seems you need another wire connected somewhere for the right hand seat, the motor was not powered sufficiently to move the seat, so took about 6 hours to get the seats out of 2 cars with other help for about an hour as my arms were not long enough to hold a ratchet ring spanner down with one hand and then reach around to the other side with the other hand to undo the bolt. Hard work but eventual success is sweet.
Serious stuff hey?
