Just attempting to install aftermarket keyless entry kit to replace the factory door unlock / lock receiver.
However ran into issues where the car will only lock and unlock with doors open. once shut won't open.
I came across this thread.

Apparently you need to add diodes to the wiring.
Does anyone know what type of diodes and where they need to be placed ?
