Yup, I'd say the TRC is just fine but the brake motor is pumping on and off due to low nitrogen levels in the accumulator as people have said. Make sure you don't have to pay when they put nice new TRC in for you.

I realise this is an old thread but figured its better than making another thread on what i think is the same nitrogen brake accumulator fault..
I have the brake system error coming up rather consistently now within a few minutes of driving, i think i may have noticed a bit of change in brake peddle feel although it may just be in my head. I am getting what sounds like a "squeek" coming from the upper area of the dash that seems to be connected to the brake peddle being pushed..
So the question is does this sound like low nitrogen problem? if so is it just as simple as getting it refilled and to what pressure?

have disconnected the sensor in the top of the brake fluid res and still get the system failure error on the dash.. i do get a slight vibration through the brake pedal periodically that comes and goes like a pump kicking in, although i dont get any traction errors coming up would this still indicate an accumulator fault?

haha dying bird.. that is the best and most accurate way to describe the sound.. cheers mate.. is this just a case of having the accumulator re-filled/charged? or is there more to it?
