My soarer had these plastic window trims covering the chrome on both sides, so i forcefully removed them and there is a material left behind on the chrome, some sort of gluing agent, does anyone know of a product that can remove this or get it off, any help much appreciated

It's a double sided tape and took the hand of god to remove it all!

Ended up using a rag with cutters to get it all off!

I used Eucalyptus oil on mine... It worked a charm, just soaked it in the oil a few times over seperate days, after a while you can get it off with your finger nails.

Easy as Clive Peeters.
