Hi All, Today I replaced the crappy standard flat caps on my polished TT wheels and thought I would share the results with the forum.

Thanks to Don Bagnall for finding the part number and Matt Watson at Penrith Toyota for getting them in.

I like the polished wheels and I think it makes a big difference to them.

If you are interested in doing this, the Centre cap part number is 42603-33090 which is off a Toyota Avensis. They cost $15.00 each from Penrith Toyota and only took a day to get in.

The cap is the correct size for a TT wheel, however, it has 4 small shoulders which are slightly too big and just need to have the chrome knocked off them with a Dremel or file (I used the Bunnings Ozito Special and it took about 10 mins) and they fit perfectly. I have indicated the shoulders in the pic below.

I'm in the process of polishing a set at the moment. Doesn't that take some doing!! I'll obtain a set of those centre caps also. Good find

Thanks for the feedback.

I'll see if I can get a full shot of the car today.
