Because those converted SC400s look 1000x better than a 430, seriously i have never seen a better looking convertable, they are HOT! Also you gain instant hero status for doing it and knowing you are the only one in Australia and one of only a handful in the world |

| Plus the SC430 is $170,000 Even with all the work involved, the convertible Z30 would end up a lot cheaper. |

| SC430's seem to sell here from about $50,000 for a 2001 model. Even an NZ new one year old model with near new K/M you would get for well under $100,000 kiwi shekels. |

Well, I had a glance at redbook.com.au to find out what you could expect to pay for one here. 2001 model: National average price - private sale* $67,700 - $78,000 Price when new (RRP) $162,000 1 year old (2005): National average price - private sale* $116,700 - $132,200 Price when new (RRP) $160,900 So I was wong - a new one is $160k, not $170k. So going off used prices, they're a buttload cheaper in NZ than over here. Do you guys have a luxury car tax like we do?? |

| The White convertible soarer belongs to Thrust From TIF! I have had many conversations about the car with him and he tells me the car is a dream to drive. 5.0 V8 SUPERCHARGED! U can keep the SC430 I don't want it! Driven one of them and I love them. But would definately go for the white convertible! |

| Hands up whos driven Thrusts white convertible Definitely benefits from the soarers stiffened chassis, there's basically no flex in the car ! Outrageous invoices in the 6 figure range for all the work done to it, so you'd assume its been done right ! Seriously though, having seen / touched / driven / spunked all over the car... I couldn't afford the kleenex bill to own it myself |
