The paint on my car is basically in good condition except for the roof that looks totally crap with holes appearing in the clear coat. I was thinking instead of just getting the roof resprayed the same colour and worrying about the sprayer matching the colour correctly, I might just get the roof and pillars sprayed black. Not sure if I want a solid line of transition from the grey to black or to get the black to fade into the grey half way down the pillars.
Any suggestions? Not even sure if that will look good. |

I think it would look sweet. I was thinking of a deep blue with a black roof and pillers.
I say DO IT!

Yeah I was going to do the bonnet too but I eventually wanna get a carbon fibre bonnet. |

Here you go Tom, a picture another member photoshop'ed of a grey Soarer (darker grey than yours) with the same theme.
And listen to what Jose and Jeff said. Use a nice hard line, fading would look crap IMO.

Nice looking car, I suppose I would have to get the bonnet done as well or a carbon bonnet at the same time, but the thing is I might be selling the old girl soon (tear) so I really only want to do what is necessary so it don’t look crap. |

I will have to see how much extra it will cost to get the bonnet done as well, dont really want to spend another $5-600 or more to have it done if im just gonna sell it. |

I guess it depends on what kind of buyers you want to attract. Personally I don't link two-tone on a Soarer. |
